virtual post

We fed the Elders in our ward. We're pretty awesome cooks so naturally we bought pizza. lol. The boys loved it, it was fun to learn about them and hear of their successes. One of the Elders refuses to wear a coat which drives me crazy but whatever.

Brevin has had his fill of some chilly graveside services.
Thankfully it's a beautiful view!

We took our neighbor Peggy out to dinner at Sterling's. It was fun to spend time with her and learn new things about her life.

Check out this 9 ft icicle on the back of our house. Crazy!

I got these sweet Book of Mormon study guides to use as my elevated learning experience for institute. They're so awesome and helpful, especially if you're a visual learner. You can find them HERE.

Our sweet Louisiana nieces used the Build a Bear gift card we got them to buy new clothes for their bears. Look how cute these two are!

Brevin and I are starting a new hobby of doing virtual runs. You pick out the medal you want and pay for it then do the run/walk on your own time and wa-la. Here's Brevin's first one. It's called Run of the Dead and proceeds go to blood cancer patients. My first one is in February and is for puppies. I'm excited, mine even comes with a Tshirt! Anyway, we plan to create a nice medal collection. Fun way to keep moving and feeling successful.

We are turning into some health nuts. I quite drinking pop and we've been working out a lot. It's been rough but good.

We found a new frozen yogurt place in town called Yogurt Beach and had a sweet treat date night.

Brevin bought me a Spire for an early anniversary gift. I struggle with major anxiety and this tracker helps me track my breathing. It will tell me when I'm focused, calm, or stressed out based on my breathing patterns. Pretty nifty.

I only worked one day this week due to the snow days. The kids aren't getting out of school until the 20th of June at this point! Crazy weather. My art around the world class consists of 5 and 6 year olds so having sudden outburst of singing isn't uncommon. lol. They are so cute!

We went to a fun game night with some people in our ward around our age. It was fun making new friends. They told us about a game store and we went and checked it out. It has hundreds of games.

The kids got their Bark Box. Koda managed to destroy the plane plushy in a matter of minutes. Molly was super excited about the treats as usual.

Koda likes to sit in the chair next to me when I'm doing homework. lol.

Anyways, I'm off to plan my lesson for young womens tomorrow.
Happy Saturday to you!

Snowmaggedon! I stole that from my boss, but seriously we've had some crazy snow for being in Washington. This is the most we've seen since we've lived here. It's not Utah by any means but the struggle of the drivers here is hilarious. Including me.

Check out this 5ft Icicle hanging from our house!

Even church was cancelled, I've never heard such a thing! So we cuddled with the pups and enjoyed an easy going Sunday.

The new year is off to a pretty great start. Let us begin with some pictures of cute pups. Since they're the center of attention in our world.

Molly got a sweater from Grandma and Grandpa Clifford for Christmas.

Koda got some squirrels for Christmas and is obsessed with them.

School has started again for me. This semester I'm taking English, which is perfect because I love to write. We've had 3 snow days this week so I've practically had the whole week off. I've been a little bored but homework has kept me going.

Another great part of the new year is a new institute class! Brevin and I are taking Studies of the Book of Mormon class. It's super great. I love having that extra spiritual uplifting in the week.

This semester I'm teaching Art Around the World, Art Journaling and Craft Fair Art. I'm really excited about the Craft Fair class. We'll be making things to sell.

Brevin loves coming to work with me on his days off. Here he's playing air hockey with a super cute kiddo.

We went to see the movie Hidden Figures. I would highly recommend it!

Brevin got some new shirts with his initials embroidered on the cuffs. Snazzy. Thanks Dad.

You see all that hair of his?! Well I cut it. What do you think? lol.

We had quite the night. We got stuck in our own driveway 2 times, it's made of gravel so its a pain to clear snow from... my van decided to die. We finally got out of the driveway in Brevin's work van and went to shovel for someone in our ward, got stuck in front of their house. Finally got unstuck then we gave up and went to Dennys. It's the thought that counts right?

Brevin and Kent installed a new battery. *thumbs up*

Gotta dress in them layers. Brevin's been wearing his PJs under his clothes these last couple days of freezing.

Here's to hoping the snow days are over.
Stay warm peeps.

new year n' stuff.

Happy New Year! Here's to hoping this year brings us better luck than 2016. ha. but seriously not the greatest year for us but that's ok... new chapter time. So it feels weird blogging this early in the day, but our new church time isn't till 2:30. yuck.

For starters here's our seasons greetings.
We sent out 75 cards this year. Crazy!

We had to include this fabulous blooper picture because everybody seemed to like it. lol.

The dogs turned 5! I can't believe it! We had a mini party which included party hats and pizza.

We had quite the snow storm that shut the town down and all the schools for the day.Only out of Utah. ha. Poor Molly...the snow was up to her belly. She was shivering when she came back in.

The Kids, yes the kids got their first BarkBox for Christmas. They got some seriously great stuff. Koda loves the toys and Molly is obsessed with the treats. Excited for this months coming soon!

For our last day of Fall semester we had a Christmas coloring contest. Look how cute these kids are. Just awww.

We had a fun staff party for my work where we did a white elephant gift exchange. This is what we got. lol. Nothing like a toilet night light.

Brevin got to play the bugle at a service. No need to mention the recording inside of it. He's a natural that's all.

The funeral home participated in the Wreaths across America. They placed a wreath on all the veterans graves.

UTAH! We had such a fun time in Utah last week. We got to stay for a full 7 days which made it less stressful. We landed and went straight over to our niece Arya's baby blessing. It was so sweet to be able to take part in that.

We went to Rosie's last Elementary Christmas performance. It was so fun to see her sing with her friends. It's crazy to think that she's in 6th grade. I met her when she was 4. Crazy!

I took some cute 2 year old pictures of this studly nephew of ours.
Liam is such a sweet lil guy.

We had a game night! We played Smart A** and had fun catching up with everyone. I miss these people so much.

Lincoln and Sylvia stopped by later with this cute little Elliot. It was fun to catch up with them.

We went to Mom's Christmas performance as well. She was a hit. I posted this video and she got around 120 likes on Facebook. She's so cool. lol.The 6th graders always have the coolest song.

We spoiled our sweet nieces to Build-a-Bear. It was so cute to watch them pick out their bears and get them dressed.

We went to the Huff Christmas party. It was super fun seeing everyone.

We did a sock exchange with goodies. Lots of fun, look how festive!

Brevin and his sweet grandparents. Awwww.

After we went over to the Clifford's to do our fun gift exchange.

I got a selfie stick for one of my gifts so naturally had to try it out.

We played a couple of games.

Then took a group selfie of course.

Angel baby this one is.

We did the Parrish gift exchange which was a whole lotta fun.

Brevin and wore our matchy matchy PJs from the Clifford parentals.

On Christmas we went to church with the Cliffords, then went and visited for a while.

We video chatted with the Igor of the Elder Clifford variety.

Brevin got this boss Tshirt from my mom. lol.

I got some fun photobooth props that we played with for a while.

Did I mention that we had a very white Christmas?! I was so excited to wake up to snow.

We facetimed the kids in Louisiana. It was fun to see my other cute nieces and all their goodies they got for Christmas.

We went on a fun double date with the Beavers. Such great friends, we love these guys. We had a game night and laughed way to hard at this game. lol.

We we're back to reality and for my Christmas present we got new shelves for the living room to look a bit more classy.

Last night we enjoyed us a homemade dinner of ravioli, shrimp and zucchini followed by some Krispy Kreme donuts. (no body's perfect right?) lol. Then we played some board games and Just Dance on our WiiU.

Look at these fabulous moves!
