stuff.

Helloooooooooooooooooooooooo!

First and for most we must start with these 2 dazzling photos of Brevin.
Gotta love Snapchat.

Now for some artsy fartsy stuff. My favorite!
I am a part of The Crafters Workshop Design Team. It's where I get to stencil with a lot of fun stencils and post about my experience with them. I get free stuff, which is always exciting. You can read some of the posts I've done so far HERE.

This last quarter we made these awesome shark rocks in my 3D Art class. The kids loved them.

Brevin and I had a paint date night last night. We've been watching Bob Ross on Netflix and were inspired to paint. Brevin went the more surreal way while I was quite a bit more abstract. Fun activity, I'd reccomend it if you're stuck doing the same old date every week.
Can you spot the hidden skull?

Drum roll please......
I was commissioned by Numerica Credit Union to create a 6'x18' paint by number mural for a fun community event.
Here is my concept I presented to them.

Here is what came of it.

During the community event it was opened to paint. It was painted really fast. During this time I was also interviewed for the commercial they're planning on making this event into.

Did I mention that my awesome parents drove 10 hr. to come support me. So fun to have them here!

This is the product after the event. Fun!

I shamelessly used one of my classes to help me do touch ups. I didn't want to fix all the painting because it was done by a lot of children and wanted to keep it that way, but we went back over the black lines. It turned out awesome. It has been fun to see my concept turn into a real life mural. It will be displayed in one of our Boys and Girls clubs.

I had the opportunity to take photos for a fun event at the Boys and Girls Club. Gradmas! This event was sponsered by Taco Bell and was a fun end of the school year party for our teens.

While I was taking pictures at the event Brevin went with my parents to see Clover Island which is a fun little spot to feel like you're in a totally different place. He took these beautiful pictures while there.

Oh yeah.... So we got a new van. A Honda Odyssey! Like a month ago. We're really excited about it and the amount of room we have. . . especially for more DIY projects.

I got my eyes checked and need some glasses for reading and night driving. woot. party. not. Brevin thinks I should get these.... I don't know guys, they're kinda tempting.

Brevin was a part of a memorial service at the cemeteries. He got to pass out programs and get a nice sunburn. Always a fun time, and tribute to our veterans.

I'd like to turn the time over to FaceTime.

We're leaving tomorrow for Utah where all 4 of my nieces are together! It's been fun facetiming but i'm really excited to play and draw and do girly things with these cute little girlies.

We build a fort. There was a spider the size of my palm on the wall. I freaked out. I couldn't sleep. Brevin snored. The dogs snuggled. It was fun.

More puppy fun!
Koda's adoption anniversary was upon us. We have had this little stinker for 4 whole years! We love his crazy sassy self.

Happy Father's Day to my hubby from his sweet puppies.

I got a new Fitbit. Super excited about it.

I've started to kick my bootay into gear, joined a 24 hr gym and have lost a total of 10 lbs this week alone. Long ways to go, but I'm proud of myself thus far.

Brevin loves coming to volunteer at my work on his days off. Here we see him getting his booty kicked at Mario Kart by the kiddos.

Check out my new house key!

Last but certainly not least, Happy Father's Day to our daddies.
We love you!
